Focus and Scope
SLEMA Journal is dedicated to energy sector professionals of Sri Lanka. Published twice a year since 1985, the SLEMA Journal carries research papers, articles, reviews and news about the status and new developments in the energy sector of Sri Lanka. The popular areas focused in the journal are energy policy; energy economics; energy efficiency, demand management and conservation; renewable energy development; rural energy and social dimensions; training on energy and related subjects; energy measuring instruments; energy auditing; worldwide trends in energy sector development; energy sector management etc. The Journal is circulated free to over 500 members of SLEMA and is also available in libraries in universities and energy sector institutions.

All SLEMA members get the journal free of charge and other institutions and individuals have to subscribe as follows:

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. There is no embargo on the journal’s publications.
Copyright of any article published in the SLEMA Journal is retained by the Sri Lanka Energy Managers Association (SLEMA).
This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. See LOCKSS harvesting start page.
